Photo Usage & Copyright Policy

This policy explains who owns the images from your Love Light Click session, and how you and we may each use them.

1. Copyright Ownership

Love Light Click retains full copyright of all photographs taken during your session, under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighboring Rights. Purchasing a session or receiving digital files does not transfer copyright to you.

2. Your License to Use Your Images

When you book with us, you receive a personal-use license to:

Download, print, and share your delivered images for personal, non-commercial purposes — printing at home or through a lab, sharing on personal social media, sending to family and friends
We kindly ask that you credit @lovelightclick when sharing on social media

You may not:

Sell, license, or use the images commercially without our written permission
Submit the images to competitions, stock photo sites, or third-party publications without permission
Apply filters, heavy edits, or crops that materially alter the image, or remove any watermark, without our consent
Use AI tools to recreate, extend, or generate new content from the images without our permission

3. Our Use of Your Images

Unless you opt out in writing at the time of booking, Love Light Click may use images from your session in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials. In line with UAE copyright law, we only use images of identifiable individuals — including children — where consent has been given by the client or, for minors, by a parent/guardian or the school on their behalf.

If you'd prefer your images not be used publicly, let us know at booking or anytime afterward at lovelightclick@gmail.com, and we'll honor that going forward.

4. Images Displayed on Our Website

The images shown on our website — including our portfolio, homepage, and galleries — are displayed for promotional purposes only. Aside from a client's personal-use license to their own delivered images (Section 2 above), no one may copy, download, screenshot, reproduce, repost, or otherwise use any image displayed on our website, for any purpose, without our prior written permission.

5. Children & School Photography

For school photography programs, images of students are shared only with the school and/or the child's parent/guardian, and are used for promotional or portfolio purposes only where the school or parent has given specific written consent as part of the program agreement.

6. Raw Files & Editing

We deliver a professionally curated and edited selection of images in our signature editing style. Unedited/RAW files are not included and are not available for purchase or delivery.

7. Third Parties (Vendors, Planners, etc.)

For weddings or events involving other vendors — venues, planners, and so on — we're happy for them to share select images with photo credit to @lovelightclick, unless you request otherwise.
